Day 1 Moscow Arrival at Moscow airport and transfer to five star hotel near Red Square, for a one-night stay. Welcome private reception in St Basil’s Cathedral, dinner in a city restaurant.
Day 2 Moscow Moscow tour, including Red Square, the Kremlin and the Armoury. Evening departure of the Trans-Siberian Express train.
Day 3 Kazan Day in Kazan, the beautiful capital of Tartarstan on the Volga.
Day 4 Yekaterinburg Crossing the Europe/Asia divide before arrival in Yekaterinburg, capital of Urals. City tour includes the Romanov execution site and the Urals Mineralogical museum.
Day 5 Novosibirsk Stop the city of Novosibirsk visiting the famous Opera House, Lenin Square, and river Ob, which flows 3,500 miles from its source to the Arctic.
Day 6 Sayan Mountains Going east the Trans-Siberian Express climbs through the spectacular Sayan Mountains.
Day 7 Bratsk Overnight running northwest to Taishet joining the BAM (Baikal – Amur Mainline), the new line that runs north of and parallel to the original Trans-Siberian. Several hours stop in the city of Bratsk visiting one of the biggest hydroelectric dams in the world.
Day 8 Severomuysk, Severobaikalsk Morning arrival in remote Severobaikalsk (North Baikal), where the road network is completely cut-off from the rest of the country. The BAM is a vital lifeline to this beautiful area. Full day stop.
Day 9 On Board The 15-km Severomuysk tunnel. Full day in the train running through beautiful, untouched and wild area.
Day 10 Novaya Chara The whole day in the small place lost in Siberia. Visit to an interesting small museum that covers the history of the area including the Marble Canyon Gulag. Stop at the unique 6-km long Sand Dunes.
Day 11 Tynda Heading east there will be a visit to the only city on the BAM route, Tynda, including a visit to a local BAM museum.
Day 12 On Board Going through untouched tundra area and entering the region of permafrost.
Day 13 Komsomolsk Ns Amur Last full day on the train. The most easterly point of the journey after visiting Komsomolsk; turning south-west for the Pacific, crossing the river Amur at Khabarovsk. Farewell dinner on the train.
Day 14 Vladivostok Morning arrival in Vladivostok at the end of the Trans-Siberian line. City tour includes the principal military attractions. Transfer to the Hotel Hyundai for a one-night stay and final farewell dinner.
Day 15 Vladivostok Breakfast in the hotel with transfers to the airport for departing international flights.
