Location: The Na Zdorovie Restaurant is situated in Petrogradskaya storona within a 10 min drive to the magnificent Peter and Paul Fortress.
Interior: The authentic Russian Restaurant is true to its name down to the finest detail. It boasts the atmosphere of Soviet time though with mixture of some Old Russian decor. There’re beautiful scrappy napkins and chair covers, Russian oven, soda-water machine, some portraits of pioneers and rag-doils in colorful shawls and glass-beads, brass samovars and much more to surprise.
The capacity of the restaurant is 90 seats in two halls.
Cuisine: Russian. Many dishes cooked using almost forgotten ancient recipes: fried in puff pastry goat cheese served with white honey and pear pickled in wine, fried duck fillet served with home-made noodles, salted mushrooms and turnip. Equally good are salmon pickled in fir-needle sauce and cold boiled pork pickled in kvass. The pride of the menu is sbiten.
Notes: Exciting gypsy entertainment, a truly Russian experience. |
