Ivan Kalita Restaurant   Ivan Kalita Restaurant

Location:
The Ivan Kalita Restaurant is situated in the coziest corner of Zamoskvorechye: quiet park at Bolotnaya Square, elegant quay with tracery bridge and labyrinth of old Moscow lanes on the other bank of the river.

Within a walking distance from Baltschug Kempinski Hotel.

Interior:
The restaurant was organically blended with a landscape. The wooden log hut with touching curtains on windows looks solid and sound. The walls are decorated in Old Russian Style. The benches are covered with motley rugs. Pillows and long shelves with cast-iron pots, baskets and other house utensils create warm atmosphere. In the evenings the restaurant is filled with soft light of “kerosene” lamps.

Capacity of Ivan Kalita Restaurant is 120 seats in 3 halls.

Cuisine:
Russian. The restaurant treats with Grand-Prince generosity and Moscow vim, offering dishes cooked according to old Russian recipes. It’s worth tasting salmon cooked with sparkling wine and stewed cream with caviar in leek on potato round rissole, or the dessert “Shamakhanskaya Tsariza”, a chocolate pie with fried filbert and cream sauce.

Notes:
Here the connoisseurs of true Russian colour and experts of Moscow lavish meal sit up long. Live music, folklore music and shows are provided.
