Location:
Unlike many famous city restaurants the Ermak is located out of busy centre, beside the Moskva River.
Interior:
The Ermak Restaurant differs greatly from other Moscow restaurants. At the road there is a Russian fairy tower - timbered, powerful and cosy, with a signboard "Ermak". The large hall is decorated with a wooden boat full of different eatables. It’s called "Gifts of the Siberian land".
Capacity of the Ermak Restaurant is 150 seats.
Cuisine:
Russian, Siberian. With the approach of summer the menu is acquiring low-calorie dishes: vegetable appetizers, light salads and cold soups. A separate section on the menu features dishes from the Ermak’s own smokehouse. There is a charcoal brazier on the summer terrace offering grilled meat and fish. The Ermak Restaurant is famed for unusual flavors of refreshing beverages prepared according to Old Russian recipes: alcoholic drinks based on honey (sbiten), cedar nuts (kedrovukha), raspberries (malivnyak).
Notes:
The pride of the restaurant is the summer terrace, overlooking a canal with beautiful water-lilies.
